We have released version 1.3 of JPortfolio component.
Version 1.3 adds:
- up to 9 images per project. Image names must end with a digit, first image for the project must end with 1. For example: website1.jpg, website2.jpg, website3.jpg.
- support for installable themes, defining front-end view of the component. Themes contain CSS file and required images, and may contain php view files, modifying further the display of information.
- better support for Joomla! 1.5, works with Legacy mode enabled.
We have prepared few affordable themes for our free component.

Version 0.9 released with small improvements.
- added parameter to enable/disable mambot processing in item description
- added fix in iframes in back-end, which should help with session bug in J 1.0.13
- should work in Joomla! 1.5 Stable, with Legacy mode enabled
It may be the last version of this component for Joomla 1.0. We are working on a component for Joomla! 1.5, which will be one component for simple gallery or portfolio showcase. |

Version 1.2 adds:
- meta description and meta keywords for each category and project
- project description template
- apply button
- prev, next project buttons
If you want to upgrade from version 1.1, please read carefully upgrade instruction in _readme.txt.
Also few CSS changes and new classes are listed there, in case you have your own CSS file.
Upgrade procedure has been improved, so in future only
uninstall of old version and install of new version will be needed. All
database tables should remain "untouched". This time one more step is
needed: details are in _readme.txt.
But because of the above
procedure, if one wants to uninstall the component completely, he needs
to go to Info menu and perform step removing
database tables first.

Aneta prepared nice mambot/plugin to display thumbnails in a CSS popup window,
using very small Javascript (8kB) - using Image Thumbnail Viewer Script, from
Dynamic Drive (www.dynamicdrive.com). Mambot code based on: mosthickbox
by Horst Lindlbauer.
Syntax: {mos thumbviewer: largeimage, thumbnail, title, align } - mosthumbviewer must be one word.
largeimage - name of large image, for example big.jpg
thumbnail - name of small thunbnail, for example small.jpg
title - a title (don't use commas in title!) optional, but if align
used, then use space, eg. {mos thumbviewer: large, thumb, , left}
align - left or right, optional
Example: {mos thumbviewer: images/stories/pic.jpg, images/stories/thumb.jpg, A title of a picture, right}
If loading.gif doesn't show, copy this image (loading.gif) to the
Joomla! images directory or to root Joomla! directory. If bot doesn't
work, check if spaces were not changed to & nbsp ; in your editor
(switch to HTML mode). Finally, don't forget to publish the mambot
after installation !

Version 0.8 adds the following:
- previous, next item buttons
- back button
- meta keywords, meta description can be added to the gallery, each album and each item
- description can be entered for each large image
- should work in Joomla! 1.5 ( without editor )
If you want to upgrade from version 0.7, please read carefully upgrade instruction in _readme.txt.
